My UK trademark has been maliciously registered and I have been charged a high fee for the transfer of my trademark

Hello

My products are sold in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe

But because it is a global site, as long as the US trademark is registered and filed, the UK site and the European site can be sold

We only registered the US trademark, not the UK trademark

And then this August, someone registered our brand

Last week, they complained about my products, and Amazon froze and removed all my products

Then they contacted me and asked me for £7,500 for the trademark transfer fee

Otherwise I can't sell my store

When I contacted Amazon, they told me it couldn't be done

I went to appeal, and Amazon told me I had to have a settlement

I don't know what to do now

Please help me

unfortunately you should have got trademarked in the uk as well for more protection.

Were you brand registered in the uk as well?

I’ll be honest, I think you need to look at going and seeking legal representation at this point.

While I can't comment or provide you direct recommendations on how to handle your trademark/brand. As per peer seller mentioned, it is best for you to get legal representation and confirm what are the region limitations of the trademark and what can be done with the other trademark owner offer.

Hope everything goes well!
