Counterfeit without test buy
I have had a report for counterfeit without test buy on one of my products but the selling application for this was approved and I have an invoice and photos to prove I test bought the products ect. I don’t know if I am just being stupid but I don’t get how the information I provided wasn’t enough and now my listing has been blocked. Anyone had this? I contacted sellers support but didn’t get much help!

By the looks of it you are buying products and listing them against private label products. If the brand on your products and invoices don't match that on the listing then you can't really win.
Getting Amazon to approve your initial request to sell an item doesn't really mean much if the "owning" seller complains.

Sometimes this happens. You can get the authorisisation from Amazon to sell. Then a couple of months later you can receive this from the brand owner. Did you stick to the RRP. This is what can normaly flag products up to brands. But at the end of the day if they don't want you on the listing, not a lot you can do im afraid.
Usually in these cases if you accept the violation and remove the products, you won't receive a hit on your account health.
You can contact the brand owner and ask for the violation to be retracted, but very unlikely this will be successful

There are a couple of potential issues here, dependent on your chosen sales method.
If your doing Retail Arbitrage, then you need to know that when you buy an item for resale on Amazon, unless it is purchased from a wholesaler Amazon deem them to be used when you come to resell them.
It doesnt matter if its brand new and boxed, Amazon policy is that they cannot be listed as new unless made by you for you or wholesale sold to you.
So in that instance standard receipts would not assist.
The second is the Private label issue.
So you may see an item and buy some for resale and see a listing on Amazon, click sell mine and then jump on the listing and start selling, this can be done in a few clicks and the item may look similar.
However, Amazons policy is that the item MUST match entirely, to this point it means, the packaging must be identical, the item must be identical and the brand must be identical.
If there is a slight out, then your breaching policy.
A lot of people fall foul here, because they go to a site, buy stock and then see something that looks identical, or similar and list and then the brand owner hits them with a violation.
So, why is that ? well for brand owners and product listers, they are responsible for the item. In essence, all products come with regulatory responsibilities, whether they are battery items requiring Take back and recycling to CE and UKCA testing.
The listing company (usually private label in this instance) is responsible for ensuring they comply.
There can be several factories that product items, that are similar or look the same, but, there is no gaurantee they are the same.
Heck, they maybe, but whilst there is no guarentee the brand is responsible.
So if you then pop up and start listing, people will issue complaints as not many companies want to spend thousands of pounds on testing for someone to come along undercut them and sell a product that they dont know is the same, has the same testing reports or is even of the same quality and can tank the listing.
We have seen it where someone has jumped on a listing and believe me when I say the item they were selling ? was not the same, packaging, logo, safety markings, and actual item.
So they are removed.
So where does this leave you.
Well, when listing, look for Brand Name "Generic" and list against those, avoid Private label items unless you have brand authority and for retail arbitrage, buy from wholesales or list as used like new
