Amazon Buyer Delivery Notifications
A customer contacted me on the 24th Dec, 08:00 ‘Where is my item? On Amazon it is showing as not dispatched.’
Now I dropped it of at the Post Office on the 21st as the tracking states.
‘I want a refund, it is no good after Christmas, I am so upset!’
-2 Hours later it arrives. (Thank God)
I send mainly 1st class signed for large letter via Royal Mail… Via Amazon buy shipping. How can it be displayed Not Dispatched to the customer? I have had several customers tell me similar too.
Is this because ‘Signed For’ is not a real tracking option?

your tracking actually says accepted on the 15th not the 21st so delayed is probably fair although agreed it was shipped. I suspect its its because a post office scan doesnt count as the post office and royal mail are separate entities

I would apologise to the Buyer, prove you shipped it and Amz not updated.
Explain if she wants to return, then not an issue for a refund when received back, in fact, to be sure, give her the return number and your address.

In the future, use Buy Shipping, you can link to your RM Account then if any issues you are covered and Amz show as being shipped, etc
