VAT registration - Invalid business registration number

Hi,

I only sell on the UK market and i'm trying to add the VAT registration number for my limited company for this market.

When entering the business registration number (from my certificate of incorporation) it is coming up with invalid.

Has anyone else had this same issue?

I have assumed that the citizen id is my UTR number and the business registration number must be the company registration number.

Any help would be appreciated.
