Prohibited Products Being Sold Openly On Amazon
I'm not usually one to tattle, but this situation hits close and really irritates me.
ASINs:

- B0CW6NNYYT
- B0CW56BC88
- B0CRFZ7S7F
All of these sellers are selling psilocybe cubensis live liquid cultures.
I had my top selling products erroneously deactivated for supposedly being psilocybe spores. I lost 10's of thousands in sales, thousands in lawyer fees, ranking, and an Amazons Choice badge because of it.
Meanwhile these guys are selling living mushroom cultures openly, it's even in some of the freaking titles (great AI bots Amazon has!!!).
Amazon nearly put me out of business on false premises, but these guys rake $10k month openly selling a prohibited product.
Amazon is trash!!!

I should add, before the mods tell me, I already reported the listings on the PDP, reported them through the Report Abuse form, and communicated directly with an amazon customer service agent through chat.
Nothing has been done. So, I'm wondering how Amazon saw fit to deactivate my products, yet even after pursuing multiple reporting methods over the last month, people selling prohibited items with keywords in the listing and titles, get to continue to break the rules and probably law, but I had to fight tooth and nail to restore my products even though they had inventory in a warehouse that they could have just opened to see we don't sell those prohibited products.

It feels like Amazon doesn't care and they go after legitimate sellers while those doing shady and illegal business get away with it and if they do get caught they will usually just find another way to sell the products so its whatever for them.

weird cause im constantly fighting with seller support for banning products of mine that arent even the product amazon is claiming. what a dumpster fire this place is.

Thank you for providing these ASINs and bringing this to our attention. At the time, I am no longer able to locate those specific ASINS. While one listing can be deactivated at any given time, there is often a lag between when they are flagged for certain policy violations.
Regarding your previous thread, I do apologize that so much time has passed since we had engaged. I was never able to receive an update on that case ID that was different from anything you had received.
You have also taken the correct actions in reporting this information via the correct channel.
At this time, these products are strictly prohibited for sale on Amazon. Amazon does take efforts to remove these products as quickly as possible.

The last one of the list showed up for me as available for sale. The description says:

Under "Customers who viewed this item also viewed" there are at least a half dozen similar products. One of them ("Gandalf") even includes an off-Amazon URL in the description. How does this even get by Amazon's policy filters?
This is the most frustrating thing for many of us who follow the rules yet get our products misclassified with no recourse even after documentation and other evidence is submitted. I literally had a package of stationery flagged as a biological test kit.

That stinks. It happens to many sellers. Its estimated that 95 percent of fertilizers on Amazon are not licensed. The licensing overheard for one type and bag size of fertilizer is about 10k per year. its so blatant.
FYI ... B0CRFZ7S7F still active and for sale as of 3-7-2024 @8:23am ET. 4 days after the report.
