Company Closed. How to Close Amazon Account with Outstanding Balance?
The company has been officially and permanently closed. All accounts have been cleared and shut down, and the management has left the country. I was hired specifically to handle the final wrap-up — closing any remaining accounts and terminating all outstanding agreements. One of the last steps is closing the Amazon account. However, there’s still a negative balance of about $500, and unfortunately, the company has no means or infrastructure to settle it. Could you please advise what can be done in this situation?
Is there a way to submit a formal written request? I’ve already contacted Seller Support, but they haven’t provided any clear or helpful response. Is there perhaps a mailing address in the USA where I could send a paper request? I’d also like to mention that this matter concerns the EU marketplaces (specifically Germany and Spain).
