Changes to the Amazon Services EU Business Solutions Agreement
On January 1, 2025, we’ll make the following updates to the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement and program policies:
- Insurance (Clause 8) and Commercial Liability Insurance Program Policy: We’ll remove the requirement that insurance policies name Amazon and its assignees as additional insureds. We’ll also update the Commercial Liability Insurance Program Policy to remove this requirement, and to clarify that the obligation to notify us if your commercial liability insurance is cancelled, modified, or not renewed rests with the selling partner (not the insurance provider).
- Tax matters (Clause 9): We’ll clarify that we’ll continue to issue invoices to you electronically in a format and delivery method we determine, e.g. in PDF format.
- Amazon Ads: Amazon Ads customers agree to accept invoices electronically in a format and delivery method we determine, e.g. in PDF format, if such format is permitted under applicable law.

Because it turns out it was never actually possible and you never actually checked with any insurers in the furst place...

Why is it only amazon who are allowed to invoice electronically - yet any evidence required from our suppliers or proof of say a gas supply to prove I'm real person MUST be a scan of a paper copy?
