How long does it take to re-measure a greeting card - answers on a postcard...
Hi Forum people,
just wanted to vent and see if anyone had any ideas on how to resolve. So I sell greetings cards through FBA, as part of the sending the cards in you can now use the Amazon recommended packing method (put asins into boxes as instructed and send to multiple FC's for a discount, which so far i've not seen.....), whilst trying to do this I found that the system wouldn't let me put the amount of cards into the system for the box, upon investigation I found that the weight of my card had been incorrectly measured as 40grams not 20 grams which meant I needed to use more boxes than was needed to send them in.
This card was my best selling card at the time....
I asked for the card to be remeasured and to my amazement (shouldn't really be surprised) the remeasure came back as bigger dimension (apparantly my card which is 0.3cm high is now 9cm high) and a weight of 400grams, there are different charges between 40g and 400grams
So I asked for it to be remeasured included photos of the item they are measuring, I also wanted to know how they calibrate their weight scales for the weight, after a few days the remeasure can back as the same wrong dimensions and weight, no photos and no other information
I have contacted seller "support" again asking for urgent remeasure and all I get is daily placeholders saying waiting for an internal team...
my case started in 19th of July and still the circle of incompetence continues...
all of my card stock is the same size and weight, we just print different designs.....
just in case any Amazon mods see this Case id is 11325710752
if you read all this and have any ideas please help lol

Answer: Just long enough for any significant sales volume to drop off the allowable rebate period... ;)

As far as Amazon is concerned,
It takes so long that the event passes, card goes out of fashion and then has to be destroyed.
Amazon like to lose sales, hence why anything that requires help such as suppressed listings, image issues, linking issues, error messages, amendment issues you end up in weeks of case message tennis just to be told - sorry computer says no.
