Evri service and experience
We use royal mail at the moment. Evri is offering us a cheaper price, we had a look at the software and it looks much easier and straight forward to use. Has anyone had experience with evri. I ve hear bad and good things.

Your going to get exactly the same answers that you have heard already. Some good, some bad, some indifferent.
Personally, I wouldn’t use them if you paid me to.
Just because they changed their name, doesn’t make any difference to the service levels.

As per above, you will get mixed feedback. I have them used them and had no issues at all.

Its all good until you have a problem. I had a customer contact me regards a shipment. I tried to call up and was met by a wall of computer says no. Getting through to a person is near impossiable. I use them because of the intergration through ebay but I would prefer not too…

We used them for a while, never again, nearly cost me my Amazon account with all the problems they created, and they simply do not care when you get a problem (which was on a daily basis).

We use Evri for orders under £25 and 1kg or under. We’ve had a small amount of issues in at peak in Christmas but compared to the amount we send with them and their difference to RM it works out (only for under 1kg). I like their GPS location and picture on standard deliveries.
That being said, Buy shipping Evri doesn’t allow you to claim the £20 protection as you go around in circles with who’s responsibility it is… We use parcels2go also On P2G Yodel offer £20 protection (you can get more for an additional fee), drop-off, under 1kg for £2.15 (ex. VAT), we’ve used them for 6 weeks now and had absolutely no issue and they have a claim service which P2G submit for you.

They are still Hermes and have a shicking reputation but I believe they are trying very hard to solv heir previous issues. I hve used them for many years because my local Evrii courier is very good and I have only ever had a few minor issues, but I book through Parcel2Go and their customer service is pretty good.

If you send a lot of items the cheaper price makes the headaches worth it.
If you can use another service though, might be best to use another.

Hi. We have recently stopped our contract with Royal Mail and gone entirely over to Evri. I agree totally with the other advice you have been given. I must admit that 99.9% of the time they are fine. The problem arises when they get it wrong as trying to get hold of someone to help is nigh on impossible and most of the time we just take the hit. On balance though the benefits ie cheaper prices and tracking with pictures and gps on delivery far outweigh the problems and when compared to other services we still end up better off. Hope this helps.

I would check to make sure your product is not on their prohibited list. If it is you’ll get no compensation even when they are at fault by losing your parcel. Though of course this is the same for all couriers except for Royal Mail

Use them a lot, next to zero problems, maybe 1 in every 200 parcels?
