Amazon requesting me to change my Password

Ok so I logged into my seller central and it asked me to change my password. Is this normal? I did not request to change my password so I now am very concerned. Yesterday I received an email from Amazon asking to confirm that I was getting in touch with them (also weird) I have no idea what's going on and stating to get a little scared that someone is trying to hack my account. If anyone has any ideas of whats going on please let me know.

Device: Generic Mobile

Near: Oregon, United States

Approve or Deny.

This is what the email stated. I dont live anywhere close to Oregon and I dont have an Android so Im a little scared of whats going on.

Yes it requested the password change on my computer but didn't on my phone or ipad. I changed the password and about to change it again because now Im just terrified of being hacked from someone using a VPN
