Account Suspended due to
Hi my account has been suspended due to verification of my status,I received this, ‘you are currently registered as an “Individual” seller, but your selling activity fits the criteria for a business/Sole Proprietor. We have explained the different legal entities below’. What can I do now, theres been radio silence from Amazon and the Seller Performance team?
Its been a month since this was done and Amazon Seller Support said that the case has been transferred to the Seller Performance team but they haven’t reached out to me, Amazon Seller Support are non existant there no live chat and I cannot request a callback.
I have a considerable amount of sales revenue now stuck that I cannot access and I need this money to be released ideally as soon as possible.
I have been a seller since 2013, the account was dormant for years but I started selling again this year, all my identity information is updated and accurate. The most frustrating issue I have is that I cannot speak to anyone about this and theres been no communication from Amazon on what they need or I have to do.
Please can anybody help?

You need to ask Seller Support to reopen the seller entity section so that you can register as the appropriate business entity.
Have you got your UTR number from HMRC for registering as Self Employed or have you setup a limited company?
BTW - Amazon pass details of accounts to HMRC as a matter of course - if you haven’t, it might be worth speaking to your accountant if you haven’t been recording your sales income correctly on your tax returns.

Are you in UK, and have you registered with HMRC as self-employed (possibly sole-trader, or partnership/Ltd co) ?
If so have you received your UTR ? - you will need to give that to Amazon for a BUSINESS Seller Account, NOT Individual Seller Account (as that is ONLY for selling off one’s own personal second-hand items, not new goods).
As Peter B says, you will need to open a case with Seller Support and ask them to open up the legal entity section.
