Approved but still can't list restricted books?
I’ve been selling books on Amazon for many years. Now many books are restricted and I must ask for approval before I list them, which is fine. Sometimes they are approved instantly and I can list them no problem. For many others it still shows as restricted despite having been granted approval.
Any suggestions on how to solve this endless cycle of restricted screens? Even when approved.
TIA.

Hi booksaboutbooks,
I also sell books and haven't found a solution. Some requests for permission to list a publisher's books are approved immediately and some (e.g. Orion) are treated as if you're trying to list new books and require Invoices from the publisher, minimum number of copies etc.
If I can't list it here, I delete it and sell elsewhere
Treating used books as if they're NEW should be looked at, but I suspect Amazon staff are too busy for such detail...

You often have to wait up to 24 hours after approval is granted before you can actually list.

I've also met these restrictions when listing secondhand copies of books, with inconsistent results when applying to sell. Sometimes approval is given immediately. Sometimes I have to go through 2 stages. The most absurd is when I get the following requirement to watch a video and answer the questions and submit the answers when trying to list ISBN 978-1862056602 which I see others selling!
