Restocking Fee

I sell hygiene products (makeup etc). I am getting lots of customers returning products where they have removed the seal and tried the product.

Amazon auto authorizes the returns, and issues the refund as soon as the parcels is shipped back to me.

How can I charge a res-stocking fee, or otherwise re-coup the loss of a product I can no longer sell?

All you can do is work out how much it is costing you and work that into the price you sell for.

You can't charge a restocking fee.

Assuming they are FBM and refunded on first scan you can raise a SAFE-T claim with Amazon for each return which has had the seal removed.

You need to provide pictures of the item in the package. So take a photo of back and front before you open the package. You also need pictures to show the product has been opened.

Amazon will consider the claim and if found in your favour will reimburse you some of the value of your item.
