Deposit method not accepted as a bank account

I’ve recently set up a business bank account with Mettle (part of Natwest). When trying to add this as a deposit method for the UK market place, I’m receiving the following error message:

“Your bank account information cannot be accepted because it is issued by a Payment Service Provider (PSP) that is not part of the Payment Service Provider Programme.”

it goes on to say:

“Please use a bank account managed by a participating PSP or a bank account issued directly to you by a bank”.

I want to continue using Mettle as it’s completely free and comes with free accountancy software so I think that the best approach would be to use a participating PSP which ideally, can receive all of my payments in each marketplace before sending it to my Mettle account in the UK.

The only problem I have is that I know absolutely nothing about the participating PSPs so was hoping for some advice?

Ideally, I’d like one that’s free and safe!

Many Thanks
