Bank Holidays collections/holiday
DPD UK have confirmed the following days they will not collect. Assuming Royal Mail will be the same?
Sunday 24th December Xmas eve
Boxing day 26th December
New years 31st December
New years day 1st January
Can someone clarify these and that we do not need to set holiday mode on these days please?
Thank you

If you look in Shipping Settings it shows Christmas Day and Boxing Day are holidays according to Amazon - so no shipping those days.
However they do not show anything for 2024, yet. In the past New Years Day was always regarded as a holiday too, so no shipping that day either.
Amazon never expect sellers to ship on a Sunday so for all the dates you mention you do not need to set holiday mode.

There are irregularities though...
In Scotland 2nd Jan is also a bank holiday so depending on where you are based you may want/need to put holiday mode on to extend for that day as Amazon do not take it into account in the UK site.
Even if you are not based in Scotland but get an order from Scotland then it may delay the delivery date - which again may effect your metrics.
If you sell on the French site then France do not have Boxing Day as a bank holiday and so orders from that site will be expected to be dispatched on Boxing Day (been caught out on that one before).
To be safe I would just put on holiday mode yourself for all the sites and dates you definitely cannot post.

Its all confused as usual. We always have DPD collecting on Sundays and delivery on Mondays. Now we can't find any reliable source to tell us if Amazon expects us to ship on 24th and 31st.
Nothing showing on our shipping settings.
Can the moderators please clarify?
