Change from Manufacturer to Amazon Barcode

Hello,

I have recently just setup on Amazon. I have just finished creating 250 unique listings, fully enriched with new GS1 EAN numbers.

My next step was to start sending my stock to the FBA warehouses. When attempting to create my shipments, I had noticed that 'Manufacturer barcode' had already been selected without giving me chance to use the Amazon barcodes which I had intended.

After contacting Amazon and getting very little feedback from the customer services team, they have said that I just need to create new SKUs. This to me, is not a reasonable solution as I have just invested many hours creating/enriching and also has cost me over 250 GS1 barcodes which I have paid for.

Does anyone have any advice or workarounds that the customer services might not be aware of, or has anyone encountered this issue before?

Many thanks in advance

They are correct. The default is to use manufacturer barcodes and if you want to change that it's for new offers only.

It is only a new offer though, so you don't need another 250 barcodes - you just add new offers to the existing listings.
