Vital Info "Brand Name" Error Message

Hello Everyone,

I’m currently doing my first listing. However, in the “Vital Info” section i have a constant trouble with a message displaying the following:

You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please contact Seller Support.

I have tried to enter GNC, Generic and N/A but neither these three are working.

Does anyone encounter a similar issue ?

Many Thanks!

It’s the product!s barcode that is needed here not the brand. If there is no manufacturers barcode on the product then you need to buy them - but only from GS1 as Amazon don’t accept others.
It is possible to apply for an exemption but there is a criteria to meet. Have you read through Amazons seller university section - lots of info there and it’s essential reading.

Thank you for your reply. It’s kind of confusing though as I have followed a course that said that EZUPC barcodes should work. Therefore, GS1 code has to be input in this “Brand Name” section ?
