Royal Mail click and drop website is down 24.02.25

Dear @Sarah_Amzn

As above, the Royal Mail click and drop website is down. We are slowly working through orders, but in the event that Royal Mail are not able to send Amazon the tracking numbers, may I ask what procedure Amazon has in place with regard to VTR?

The reason I ask is that I, and I'm sure other sellers, have no desire to spend fruitless time sending emails and subsequently waiting for a response from either Community "Help" or Seller "Support" with a health warning when this is clearly out of our control.

I have added the date, so that it is easy for both Community "Help" or Seller "Support" to check and that any orders despatched today, may be affected.

Yours sincerely

Paul

Try another browser. It could be a cookies issue or something else.

It's not unusual for a website to stop working all of a sudden but I find that trying another browser works until the browser problem gets sorted.

Come back and let us know what happened.

I have had no problem all day have you tried a different browser or checked on a different internet connection?

Hi All,

It took about an hour but all is working now.

For future reference, as suggested, I did delete browser history, cookies etc - it was not an immediate fix - on the bright side, I was able to create other orders awaiting for the Royal Mail Click and Drop come back up - I also referred to the "down detector" which clearly demonstrated that we were not alone experiencing difficulties.

However, I would like to know what Amazon's procedures are if the Royal Mail system does stop working with Amazon and await the Community "Help" response.

Stay jolly 'n safe and thank you for your replies.
