Are Royal Mail being particularly useless this week?

I'm just wondering if others are having a bad week with RM. Many items are not being scanned, and even a couple of Tracked 24 items are stuck in limbo. I'm probably going to lose my Premium Delivery eligibility as a result.

Yesterday, Amazon refunded two customers out of nowhere (as in no previous contact), and today I'm fielding five claims of items not being received. A couple were obvious scammers, but the others, I'm unsure. It's all so tiresome. I guess this is more of a rant.

Hey there @Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD,

In lieu of other comments I just wanted to see if you're still having this issue?

Regards,

We get this loads on Amazon.

The main reason is that Amazon show customers messages like 'your item is running late, claim a refund' for any untracked service or for items which have not had a delivery scan (especially Royal Mail)

It definitely happens in waves. We've had 3 or 4 this week after not having any for ages.

It's amazing how many Amazon customers find packages in bushes or out in the garden (which were delivered a month ago!) when told that you'll pass the enquiry to Royal Mail to review the GPS scan or notify their delivery office that there is an issue with their address.

No issue on any other platform - just Amazon.

Our INR claim rate is FIVE TIMES higher on Amazon than on any other marketplace/platform.

Unfortunately Amazon very rarely protect sellers against this type of abuse.

I am at war with Royal Mail! I have spent about 8 hours on the phone with them in the past week. Mostly listening to their Vivaldi while on hold.
