What is the difference between the new 'Price Discounts' option vs just creating a sale price via Edit Listing?

Curious if anyone has any insight on this.

Also wondering if the fees are more with Price Discounts (if it's counted as a rebate rather than actually a lower selling price.)

Thank you!

Hello @Seller_lOWDGmbepnrhb

Thank you for using the Forums. From a customer point of view, the experience between Price Discount vs Sale price is the same.

The different for Price Discounts for you is that it gives you access to the Price Discounts dashboard, which helps you analyze performance on the impact the discounts are having and helps you adjust accordingly. See the help pages and articles below for more information:

There are no additional fees for Price Discounts, it will be counted as a lower selling price and fees calculated accordingly.

If you have additional questions on something that is not covered above, please reach out to our Seller Support team.
