Important: submit your Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) registration numbers
If you sell Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) in Germany, you can now submit your registration numbers (WEEE-Reg.-Nr.) for WEEE regarding Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
Otherwise, on 1 January 2023, Amazon will be legally obliged to suspend your non-compliant listings.
To comply with WEEE EPR in Germany, submit your WEEE-Reg.-Nr. to Amazon on the Compliance Portals. For more information on EPR requirements for WEEE and how to comply, go to EPR Requirements: WEEE in Germany.
We’ll use the numbers to validate that your company and all of your EEE listings have a valid brand-device type registration number.
