Remote Fulfillment with FBA
Amazon is now auto-enrolling current FBA customers into this. As Amazon never does anything to benefit third-party sellers, this must be increased profit for Amazon.
Has anyone used this service before, and can you advise on how the VAT is handled? Furthermore, I am guessing it involves having to send more stock into Amazon's warehouse?

I've had this notification too, Not sure what it involves on our side of things regarding all the overseas rules and regulations. A little clarity from Amazon would be really helpful.

I believe but could be wrong that there are tax implications. I switched mine off when Brexit happened as I didn't want all the hassle and expense.
I prefer to use "Allow Amazon to buy my products". This way I have no worries about GDPR (or whatever it's called) or vat or returns. Amazon does all that.

If they ship our stuff abroad it will be rejected at the border.
@mods if you have a minute can you tell us how to turn this off?

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your time. If you have any questions or concerns on how to enable or disable specific units from eligibility for Remote Fulfilment with FBA by reviewing the steps and tools on the Remote Fulfilment with FBA help page. As mentioned on the page:
Once enrolled, you can see and edit the enrolment status of your listings on the “Manage your listing” tab of the Remote Fulfilment with FBA interface. For taking bulk action, you can download the product eligibility report. Determine the specific country and product that you want to add or remove from the programme, type in “Yes/No” on the “Enable/Disable” column and then save the file and upload.
Thank you for your understanding.

Click on the setting cog (top right) and then choose Fulfilment By Amazon. The setting are on that page.

We have had stock end up in an EU warehouse before, I think its from an UK FBA order sent to the EU and the buyer returns it, it doesn't come back to a UK Amazon warehouse but instead goes to an EU one.
I had to do a disposal request to stop the storage fees.
