Brand Approval Denied

I've applied for brand, catalog, and GTIN exemption. I've been approved for Catalog and GTIN Exemption, but have been denied for brand approval. Can anyone tell me why? The document fulfils all of the requirements. Case number is: 16650065111

I cannot get past the boilerplate response from Amazon saying that it's been denied, but with no reason given as to WHY it was denied.

Good Evening @Seller_XiZXFx0UutRY7,

I wanted to stop by and share that I have seen this issue on the forums in the past where sellers get approved to sell in a category and try to list an ASIN immediately after.

Just because sellers have approval to sell in a certain category, there may be additional approvals for particular sub-categories, brands, and specific products. The approval process may include document requests, performance checks, and other qualifications. To learn more about that process click here. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors.

The other approach you could take is if you have a relationship with the brand, would be to request they add you to their list of approved sellers through Brand Registry. Once that has occurred you can attempt to list again and if you still have any issues reach out to support letting them know you are now in the brand's Brand Registry approved list.

Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the information shared above. Have a good night.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
