My account got deactivated for G1801 Seller Code of Conduct
My account got deactivated this morning for G1801 Seller code of conduct. I had no issues with the account it is an aged account that I been selling on since 2017. I do retail arbitrage and do all my order FBM fulfilled by merchant. I buy them in stores like Walmart, sams club, target, etc and prep by myself at home and ship out to my customers. I did contact the amazon health team and they stated to fill complete some virtual identity and supply chain verification over a video interview.
So my question is I understand amazon gets people for drop shipping but in this case all of my items are bought by my in stores physically and shipped out by me physically by being dropped of at USPS, why would that be triggering amazon? Any info would help on this.
Thanks

You do not have a valid supply chain, meaning you cannot provide invoices to prove authenticity. RA has been phasing out on this platform for a while.

Your buying items at retail and selling them on Amazon. If your selling them as "new" on Amazon you are violating the product condition guidelines. When an item is sold at a store the purchaser is the "end user" and the item is now used and if sold again it must be sold as used otherwise your defrauding the next buyer by saying its new.
Additionally items often have warranties that apply to the original buyer. Since you are the original buyer then those warranties will not apply to whomever orders from you. This makes the item your selling legally "materially different" which is a form of counterfiet.
Also you are using the product you purchased for your profit by listing it on Amazon. The brand you purchased at the store likely has a trademark protecting that brands intellectual property. This makes your use of that trademark a violation of Amazon policy and potentially USPTO law.

Hello @Seller_ZiTPrsqTumypk,
I understand you have questions about your account being deactivated. Based on my observations from your post, I want to provide you with a sense of direction moving forward.
There is a lot of disinformation as to whether the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement allows for Retail Arbitrage. It does not.
@Seller_Qbd0RsfZFEZBY provides many valid reasons for this. Customers trust that they can always buy with confidence on Amazon. As a seller, it's important to understand Amazon's guidelines on product quality and authenticity.
If you list products without gaining the required intellectual property rights approvals, you may become subject to the enforcement.
Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements
Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
Most retailers will not provide Supply Chain Documentation. This makes verifying product authenticity impossible.
Here is some more great information regarding guidelines to source products to sell on Amazon.
I hope my response is beneficial towards your business.
