Opened amazon Individual account charged pro and disabled now
i opened a Individual account, i thought all ok, had a email today to comfirm credit card, took a pound out, pending, then 1 min later my account disabled and charged 30 pounds, on looking it said it was a pro account, pos i never clicked that now, now asking for a bill paper type to appeal, so no account n 30 less, no good when no number to ring

In common with many new sellers you are getting the account type (the legal entity) and the selling plan confused.
There are 2 account types - BUSINESS (legal entity) - if you plan to buy (or make) goods to sell for profit, and INDIVIDUAL - only for selling off your own personal second-hand items eg. books, DVDs, CDs etc. Another point you need to realise is that if you are buying and selling goods for profit, you will need to be registered with HMRC as self-employed.
Then there are 2 selling plans - Professional Plan - pay a £30 monthly fee (includes other perks), and Individual Plan (yes - confusingly same name !) - where you don't pay a monthly fee, but pay an extra 90p per sale.
ALL new accounts are deactivated whilst they check and verify all the info you have provided, so that is not unusual. When you registered and clicked on the orange 'Sign Up' button that automatically registers you for the professional selling plan - you need to read the small print under the button (£25+VAT) =£30

Welcome to Amazon, this feeling you have right now where somethings gone wrong and theres seemingly no way to fix it or a person to speak with who can resolve the issue there and then, thats perfectly normal and will stay with you for the remainder of your career.
Wait until your account funds get blocked from paying out, or your listings suddenly disappear and you have a mountain of dead stock you have to shift on Ebay...
