lost featured offer accross may asins

Can someone please explain to me how to quickly see what asins do not have a featured offer due to this amazon glitch? we see that this is happening a lot to other sellers lately

My question is when looking on manage my inventory and you have the feature offer ticked in preferences then a green tick or a red cross comes beside every asin

how are we deciding if a red cross is because of an amazon issue or just because of pricing

another question would be how are people identifying the asins that dont have the featured offer any more?

It seems you're dealing with a complex situation regarding Amazon's Featured Offer (commonly known as the Buy Box) and identifying issues with your ASINs. Let’s tackle your questions step by step:

When you enable the Featured Offer column in your "Manage Inventory" section on Amazon Seller Central and see a red cross next to an ASIN, it generally indicates that the ASIN is not currently winning the Buy Box. Here are a few common reasons why you might see a red cross:

-Pricing Issues: Your price may not be competitive compared to other offers or may be deemed too high by Amazon’s pricing algorithms.

-Account Health: Issues related to seller performance metrics, like high order defect rates, late shipment rates, or pre-fulfillment cancel rates, might affect your eligibility.

-Inventory and Shipping: Low stock levels or not offering Prime shipping (if most competitors are using Fulfillment by Amazon) can also be factors.

-Amazon Glitches: Occasionally, there can be system errors or glitches that temporarily affect the visibility of the Buy Box.

To determine if the red cross is due to an Amazon glitch or other issues, follow these steps:

-Check Pricing: Compare your prices, including shipping, with those of competitors. Are you priced competitively?

-Review Account Health: Look at your Seller Central dashboard to see if there are alerts or issues with your performance metrics.

-Contact Support: If everything on your end seems correct and you still see discrepancies, it could be an Amazon glitch. In this case, reaching out to Amazon Seller Support for clarification would be advisable.

Identifying ASINs Without a Featured Offer

To systematically identify which of your ASINs do not have the Featured Offer, you can use the "Manage Inventory" section effectively:

-Set Preferences: Ensure that the Featured Offer column is activated in your inventory dashboard preferences.

-Filter and Sort: Use filters to sort your inventory by the Featured Offer status. This will allow you to quickly see which products have a red cross, indicating no Featured Offer.

-Export Data: For larger inventories, consider exporting your inventory list to a spreadsheet. You can then use data sorting features in Excel or Google Sheets to manage and analyze which ASINs are not winning the Buy Box.

If you frequently encounter issues with the Buy Box, automating the monitoring process using third-party tools designed for Amazon sellers can also be beneficial. These tools often offer more advanced analytics and automated alerts when your Buy Box status changes occur.

Finally, consistently monitoring your listings, keeping an eye on performance metrics, and staying informed about Amazon’s changes and updates are crucial steps in managing your online business effectively.

I hope this Helped.
