New Return Rate and Star Rating Features on the Voice of the Customer Dashboard
Hello Sellers,
We have launched two new features on the Voice of the Customer dashboard to provide you with more comprehensive insights and help improve customer satisfaction.
- Return Rate: This new metric is based on the total number of units shipped for which customers have initiated returns in the past 12 months. Many sellers have requested this information to understand their overall return rate beyond just product quality defects. By having access to this data, you can make more informed decisions about your products and listings.
- Star Rating: The Star Rating feature now shows the star rating of your ASINs as displayed on the Amazon product detail pages. With this addition, you have all relevant information conveniently available in one place, allowing you to identify areas for improvement more efficiently.
These enhancements to the Voice of the Customer dashboard are part of our efforts to provide you with the necessary tools and insights to deliver exceptional customer experiences. By leveraging these new features, you can proactively monitor customer feedback, identify potential issues, and take appropriate actions to resolve them promptly.

Whilst we all want to give our customers the best possible service and to quote "... and help improve customer satisfaction." this is yet another metric for us to meet, and there is a lot of evidence that just one simple return can seriously impact our VoC. Maybe I am misunderstanding it as fortunately all my metrics are perfect (at the moment !), but there are SO many metrics to meet nowadays.

The voice of customer system is unnecessary. We already have ratings and returns so what's the point in it? Amazon needs to focus on its feedback and review system which should be like the Vinted system. Automatic 5* unless a problem is reported because the majority of people will only take the time to leave feedback for negative experiences and any low ratings should be explained otherwise its not constructive to the seller or prospective buyers.

What are you doing amazon? more absolute nonsense for sellers to worry about that helps absolutely no one with anything.
LESS metrics, so we can actually concentrate on running a business eh? we have enough to do as it is.
