Anyone having problems with Codisto?

I use Codisto to sync my inventory between Amazon & Shopify. However there seems to be an overselling problem on Codisto / Amazon. They cant find an issue and now my account is under review.

Has anybody had a similar problem or able to recommend an alternative to Codisto?

When you say “an overselling problem”, what exactly do you mean?

How many times a day does the feed update your inventory.

Do you have your shopify inventory policy set to “Allow customers to purchase this product when it’s out of stock” ?

Otherwise sometimes Amazon has a backlog with inventory updates which can take a while to clear. I see Codisto help page saying “We process and send inventory updates to Amazon in real time but Amazon can take some time to process them at their end.” so the inventory feed should be up to date as long as it’s processed by Amazon.

I do not use Codisto, seems very expensive.

Overselling on Amazon seems to happen ocasionally and I have not worked out why, sometimes stock on our system will be reduced to -1 with the only sales being on Amazon.

This does not happen that often and although we keep checks on our stock levels we tend not to worry if we have 1/2 more than showing on the system, this allows for problems should they arise and at some point we do stock check all items that are we have sold in the past month that are showing as being low / out of stock.

I have put the problem on a list of things not to worry about on Amazon but as it is causing you a problem I would suggest that you reduce your stock levels untill you can get it sorted.

To be fair to Codisto I have found them brilliant up until this month. Customer service is very good, very pleasant staff. To me its worth every penny as I have a large inventory and it would be impossible to monitor without them

But I think the fault may now be on Amazon! I manually adjusted the inventory levels to zero on the products and they started to sell again :see_no_evil:
