Having not sold on amazon for about 3 years i now want to start again but my account has been deactivated. I have a heathly rate on the account - no violations or anything shown - there are no requests for any information - it therfore wont allow me to reactivate - i can put in an appeal as there is nothing to appeal against - when i try contacting them the only thing suject option is conscerning appeals and when i send it they just reply with a s=generic - this isnt the right channel for an appeal.....im at a loss - can anyone offer any advice???

If you have not sold for 3 years your account has maybe been made 'dormant', or did you ever receive an email informing you of deactivation for any other reason ? You would also need to check that your bank details do not need to be reverified - most of us need to reverify bank info regularly.
Have you opened a case with seller support ? - that should be your first step.

it usually says why if your account suspended because info needs updating
