Royal Mail claims form

Has anyone tried to use the new Royal mail claims form yet for more than one item ?

Now requires recipient address details event though this is deleted after 30 days on click and drop

Hi Harrymichaels,

No I haven't. But if 2 items (or more) have gone astray to the same address/customer, I would be asking questions... e.g. confirm address, and check any tracking you have...

All Best

This is why it is worth keeping your own record of recipient addresses outside of the Amazon system, at least until the time limit for requesting INRs etc has passed.

Claims with Royal Mail are an utter joke anyway, I provided them invoices they refused I lodged with Small Claims Court and with Ofcom that they need to investigate their claims process as I believe they are not adhering to their own rules (sound familiar)

We never use the multiple system even though it takes considerably more time to process them individually. More often that not the form crashes meaning individual claims probably are more time efficient.

We keep a note of all addresses but you can recover them from click and drop by choosing the manifest, then order and press reprint the lable when you can copy the address from the screen.

The complete customer address remains available to you if you click on 'manage invoice' on the order details page.

Don't you run off some kind of paperwork for each order?

If you’re facing this challenge, you might want to explore the option of retrieving addresses from Click and Drop manifests or reprinting labels to access the details? I hope this helps.

The form and process is a nightmare.I have spent hours trying and also several phone calls and with a little fudging and editing managed to submit a claim. I found I could not enter the postcode as there was a handling error. The helpdesk told me to right click and enter the postcode in a sticky note and send it though like that. Then I could not submit the csv file as the submit box was greyed out. I noticed the box turned red for 2 seconds before turning grey so I managed to click it during the 2 secs and finally got it through.
