Random SKU generated for my new product, not on catalogue
I used to be able to list a new item, never sold on Amazon before, and give it my own SKU. Now, there is no field for SKU when adding a new product that isn't in the Amazon catalogue. A SKU is then randomly generated, which is no good for me as I am running a stock inventory system and need consistency. Any ideas?

When listing you have to ensure that the attributes is set to at least "recommended" - if it's set to required then the SKU field won't appear.

To add to ForumLurker's post - make sure that the 'all attributes' button on the left is ticked.
