Cosmetics return
can anybody advise what the rules are on returning open and used cosmetics? I’ve had a return request which is obviously been auto reproved for a face moisturiser cream that’s been used they claim they don’t like it. Surely we shouldn’t have to accept that back as it’s been opened and used and is now no longer resell-able but there is no way to cancel a return request. Do Amazon have rules on cosmetic returns ?

Theoretically certain products such as cosmetics, cleaning materials and underwear should be non return items but the policy becomes problematic with some customers abusing the policy once they know they won't have to return the item. There are regular posts here of customers ordering multiple items and getting refunds on all without having to return. Unscrupulous drop shippers also favour non return items.
I don't sell any of those items but thought it was an automatic policy however maybe you have to make an adjustment to your returns policy. Just be careful what you wish for.
