According to the help page Listing Loader Format, it's "the type of unique product identifier entered in the product-id field." The valid options are UPC, EAN, or GTIN.
To find this information for your product, check out Find your product ID (GTIN). The help page explains you can:
- Look above or below the barcode on your product's packaging
- Get it from your manufacturer
- If you make the product yourself, visit the GS1 standards website
One important heads-up from that same help page: Amazon verifies all Product IDs against the GS1 database, and using incorrect information could affect your ASIN creation privileges.
