Can't Verify Credit Card info?

Tried to do a disbursement today as usual but then I got an email saying the following.

"We were unable to verify the credit card information you provided for your seller account. Common reasons for this occurrence are as follows:

  1. Invalid card number, expiration date, or cardholder name. Incorrect billing address not matching the bank’s records.
  2. Your card expired.
  3. Bank limits or policies that prevent the charge attempt from being accepted.
  4. Card is a pre-paid credit card.
  5. The card was configured as an exception to a specific marketplace but the card does not accept charges in that currency."

It’s worth noting that I updated the bank account that I want my disbursements to go to yesterday and I’m not sure if that is related or not?

Anyway I have updated the Credit Card info as they have requested but they keep sending the same email, i have now tried multiple cards and nothing seems to work.

I’m a bit of a loss at what to do as I’ve used all the cards up that I have and there shouldn’t be anything wrong with any of them. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it as there is £600 in there that I can’ get out until it’s sorted and I really need it out.

Thanks

That might well be an issue. Changing bank details sometimes (usually, in fact) triggers a verification.

As far as the credit card/s go - try updating those through your buyer account, provided the two accounts have the same email ID.

With the account hacking that is occurring, it’s perhaps not a bad thing if sellers are unable to disburse for a few days after their bank details have changed.
