"This Barcode is Linked to more than one ASIN" Error message and Amazons lack of knowledge/care/and ...

Amazon merged two of my products due to some shared similarities (without our knowledge) and removed one of the ASINs. Now, when trying to send a shipment to Amazon, we get an error message stating: "This manufacturer barcode is linked to more than one ASIN."

After one week of calling and emailing Amazon's seller support, I have been met with frustrating responses. One agent says we have un-merged the ASINs the other comes and says we cannot un-merge, its not possible. The final answer provided was simply, "we do not know and we can't do anything."

My experience with the seller support over the past few months have have been very frustrating - Amazon's customer service has significantly deteriorated compared to previous years.

If anyone has experienced a similar error or has any insights or suggestions on how to address this issue, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you!

This is a very simple issue to address. It seems like it was comingled before, but now that the barcode is linked to two ASINs, you have to label it with a X01******* FNSKU.

Simply just "add another condition" and create another separate SKU for your FBA item and Amazon will allow you to ship the new SKU in as long as you put a FNSKU label on the product.

No, that is only if you pay them to label the items (and I highly recommend you don't get Amazon to label anything since they usually screw up) If you label the items yourself, you do not incur the fee.

labeling 2000-3000 units each time would be a pain.

You can have the manufacturer print the label on your packaging going forward
