New Product High CTR No Sales
Hi everyone!
I would appreciate any insight any of you have. I just launched a new product on the 9th and started sponsored ads that day.
My CTR is pretty high over 1% all but one day and over 1.5% on a few days but none of the clicks have converted. I also keep running out of budget today I ran out of budget in less than 2 hours but I am hesitant to increase ad spend since its not producing any sales.
Here are my stats since I started ads.
- 4,492 Impressions
- 51 Clicks
- 1.14% CTR
- 0 Sales
Some additional info on my product:
- $90 which is good for its category most are selling over $100 (backseat extender for dogs)
- There is a lot of competition but mine is the only product that converts (I thought that this would interest buyers)
- I only have one review right now (just signed up for vine to hopefully get more)
I am wondering if my listing is the issue or if there is something else I am missing. Maybe the fact that its a more expensive product for amazon and doesn't have many reviews is causing people to hesitate.

Hello @Seller_WKAU6EJKSp5Ws
You have a very good looking product. You know, It is common for new sellers to need time to ramp up. In order to help you focus on a few areas, I am sending you to the help page linked below.
I like to recommend Great product details and descriptions. For more information, go to Great Detail Pages Drive Sales. When you think about the product detail page consider looking for a way to emphasize your convertible feature as that is something that sets you apart from other products.
Good luck, Susan

I would advise you to be careful amazon will take your money and then tell you how you need to spend more money. If you are careful, you might break even. Remember every click is your profit getting smaller.
If you have high demand for your product and high profit built in, you have a much better chance.
Amazon will even offer you a personal sales expert for free.
Good luck and many sales.

It's common for new seller dear, But don't give...Promote product on other social media platforms and try your best...It takes time to grow your sales...

It sounds like your product lacks the metric history of its competition. Maybe lacking in brand recognition as well. If so you ad strategy will be aquicision not retention. If you have a brand this would include a suite of brand ads including A+ content and videos as well as product ads.
We are more in retention and gaining marketshare and our picture is a bit different. Your CTR is sweet as pie for sure.

I personally believe maybe you should do some negative search terms in your sponsored ads, you mentioned the budget ran out in short time, so there must be some biiiiiig search terms cost quite a lot and ate all the budget but didn't convert. After you negative all the unnecessary search terms, you can keep the Ads running and gather more data, sales will come, just keep going. Another Tip, you'd better start Ads after having like 5-7 positive reviews, that converts much better, after all that's a real social proof, so the Ads will be surely more efficient with better CVR and ROI.
Good Luck

One other suggestion. I see you have only 2 reviews for the product - both of which are stellar by the way! You might look into getting some reviews through Vine. It could be a good way for your to build up some credibility with potential buyers.
