Buying an Amazon business on Flippa?
Hello,
I currently sell on Amazon but I am looking to buy another existing Amazon business via the Flippa marketplace. However, I am afraid of getting in trouble for having two Amazon seller accounts (my current account and the possible purchase of another account). I know that Amazon does not allow for you to create two seller accounts. I have also heard that if one of your accounts gets into bad standing, both of your accounts will, but I do not know the truth behind this. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you!

General rule -- Amazon doesn't allow you to buy/sell accounts.

Hello @Seller_OsVIQm6oeYaix,
Thank you for posting your concerns with our multiple accounts policy.
Per our code of conduct policy:
- You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
Any and all stores linked to you and your account is required to maintain a healthy standing or may result in all stores being deactivated a a result. If you obtain a selling account through a purchase of a business you will need to maintain all purchase documentation as a valid reason for being associated to another store, but you will also need to create a new store or use your current one to list and sell. As stated by the community, you are not allowed to buy, sell, or trade selling accounts.
I would strongly advise fully researching the company you may be interested in as being associated to a deactivated account can be a very difficult situation to be in, and even more so to get out of. I would also advise looking over our seller university video on how to maintain compliance which has a little bit of additional information.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
