How to revert back to Amazon labelling from manufacturer barcode

I converted some ASINs to ‘manufacturer barcode’ the other day, to save on labelling fees. For each ASIN, I clicked ‘use manufacturer barcode’ on its ‘Send to Amazon’ prep/labelling page. I thought there would be a ‘use Amazon barcode’ button to change them back, but there isn’t.

My general setting for FBA is already ‘Amazon to label’ but several ASINs are still on ‘manufacturer barcode’.

What is the method for changing individual ASINs back to ‘use Amazon barcode’?

I believe you have to change it to manufacturer in fba settings then create a new sku

Not all goods are suitable for manufacturer codes though

Once a product is using manufacturer barcode, you cannot change it back.
You need to create a new SKU, which should give you the option of choosing which method you want to employ.

This is such a source of frustration. Wish they’d give an option on an existing FBA SKU to change the barcode type.

Thanks all. It would be good if Amazon would give a warning that when you click ‘use manufacturer barcode’ it then can’t be changed back again. Anyhow, will relist the ASINs as suggested.
