Amazon does not remove feedback that is obscene language
Amazon is getting out of control. They did not remove this feedback. We will answer in the same language since they consider this is not obscene. This platform is becoming redicoulus where anyone can say anything.
"I returned the product because it was not compatible with my machine and I called customer service and even so they could not make it work. I am disappointed because I wasted time and they did not return the value of the product. They are only returning $107.16 dollars to me and I paid $199.15. They are thieves, it is a real robbery."

There is nothing obscene or vulgar in that feedback. It is an honest evaluation of their experience with a seller.

This is the risk you run when you charge restocking fees, the customer may have messed up, returned it missing parts, broken the unit and sent it back, or a number of other things.
With that being said, they are entitled to their review and this is not vulgar or "obscene"
If I can resell it, I issue a full refund.
Seller feedback comes too few and far between to potentially expose yourself to an elevated chance of a negative by charging a restocking fee.

Hello @Seller_IWNhTAxkWNw5l,
Thank you for posting here at the forums and sharing your sentiment towards the feedback process. However, the feedback you are calling out does not qualify for removal or suppression as it does not violate Amazon guidelines.
Sincerely,
Joey

When Amazon speaks of obscene language, they mean curse words like the F*** word, B***, A$$hole, stuff like that. Calling you a thief is not considered obscene at all.

We get those posts when buyers don't read OUR return policy that basically says if we are allowed to take a restocking fee we going to. Do some folks not appreciate that, yes, do they write nasty feedback, yup - will it make you nuts? ONLY if you dwell on it as a personal insult - let it go - it's not worth the negative energy, you have better things to do with your time

if you call the customer a thief you could face problems with amazon but most of my problem orders are CUSTOMERS ROBBING ME. If i send an email accusing the customer of being dishonest they can report me and give 1 star feedback. totally unfair

what in the world is "obscene language" in that feedback?
Seller_R2dP7Hunjcdj0
This is NOT considered by ANY standard to be "Obscene" or "Vulgar". I challenge you to look-up the actual definitions of both of these words.
As such, it is absolutely permitted.
Which makes your post completely false, and you should either remove it, or post a retraction.
Demonstrate that you are a responsible person, and take responsibility for not only your incorrect use of this Forum, but what exactly created the conflict between you and the Buyer. I assume this was a partial refund on a return, but be certain you were within Amazon Policy. If you were not, and the Buyer files an A-Z Claim for the withheld amount, it is possible that Amazon will side with them.

I agree. Feedback that is completely untrue and provable Retaliatory in nature is still allowed by Amazon. This was not always the case, but a few years back Amazon turned the Feedback system entirely to A.I., with no human interaction. Amazon even went so far as to threaten Sellers who continue to request a different resolution to an already provided Feedback Removal Request.
However, there is a HUGE difference between "Fair" and "Illegal".
Furthermore, I believe that Amazon has gone a long way to prove to everyone that they do not factor "Being Fair" into their business model.
The list of how unfair Amazon is, especially to 3rd Party Sellers, is too long to even begin listing here.
Every Seller must answer this question: Do the benefits of Selling on Amazon outweigh the detriments of Selling on Amazon?
If the answer is "Yes", then you must consider these types of "Losses" to be "Part of doing business", and take them as write-offs on your taxes.
If the answer is "No", than you should definitely find a new platform to Sell your goods/services on.
We are the "Tail" and Amazon is the "Dog". We cannot wag them, they wag us.
