Intellectual Property Rights claim - removing stock help

Hi all

After some assistance as I am going round in circles with Amazon.

I listed one product which has three different colours, so three ASINs. I received an intellectual property rights complaint against me.

I accidentally listed this product under the wrong ASINs. They are the same product only they’ve used custom branding.

I have explained over and over how I accidentally listed them under these ASINs and have provided the ASINs I wished to sell under but they don’t listen. They’re emailing me telling me to create a removals order, which I cannot do until the items are marked as unfulfillable. However, they won’t be moved to this status as I need to appeal in order to sell this product. No matter how many times I explain it, I keep being hit with templates asking for a letter of authorisation. I do not intend to sell this item, it was a mistake.

I feel like there’s literally nothing I can do as I am being told the same old thing. I have contacted Amazon numerous times, via email, call and live chat for the past two weeks regarding this.

Anyone know anyway to get my stock back.

Are you able to recall the stock? You can use a spreadsheet/flat file and upload it to create the removal order. Hopefully someone with a bit more experience of a similar situation will be able to provide more insight but if ever we need stock back here we can just have it recalled from Amazon. I’d imagine similar is possible?

Going off other threads on this, I don’t think you can get the stock back til you’ve proved authenticity

If this was a complaint from the rights owner then you’re best to appeal to their better nature and contact them direct as you’ll be dealing with a human as opposed to the Amazon robots. Explain the mistake and that you have no intention of selling in competition with them and with any luck you may be able to deal with someone reasonable that understands your situation or may even have experienced it themselves.

In the original message you received notifying you of infringement was there any form of contact information for the complainant? Normally there will be. Given that you’re being asked for LOA and the like though I suspect this is a counterfeit claim and Amazon are likely to hold onto your goods until you can prove the supply chain. I hope you are able to resolve this soon as I can completely empathise with your frustrations.

Thanks… more than happy to try this.

I am also more than happy to buy their product and return if it is branded
