Feedback removal help

Why are amazon so incapable of offering any kind of seller assistance? We had some negative feedback of "Not delivered" on a recent order - despite it being delivered and tracking showing as much (with GPS / image) + the customer had opened a return request for the order saying it didn't fit (as usual with a FMB order they decided they wanted this item for free rather than it actually be a genuine return but that's another story).

Amazons only help is "ask buyer to change" which is never going to happen. And because I barely sell anything via FMB my account health - due to one piece of totally made up feedback from a scammer - is now in the trash and my account is at risk of deactivation.

I really do wonder why I still bother with this place

The problem is that feedback cannot be changed automatically or by seller support. Seller support can only look at accounts and provide advice, they will never make changes.

Appeals against feedback are bot generated and if the feedback is a clear breach of policy then the bot will either remove or strike through.

If it is not clear, then it will reject the appeal immediately.

Contacting seller support in the first instance will get you nowhere other than a possible referral that will likely be kicked into the long grass.

The system is geared to push FBA so anything that you fulfil yourself will likely get ignored.

The only reason anyone bothers with Amazon is if they are making money on it. If not then I don't know why anyone would bother either. It's a pretty rubbish hobby.
