Restricted product policy violations for item Not a Deititary Supplement
Hello,
I am hoping for some guidance. I have a product detail that was removed due to Restricted product policy violations. Amazon has the item listed as Dietary Supplement. It’s not a Dietary Supplement and it has a Nutritional Facts Panel. The page was inactivated about 28 days ago. However I submitted an appeal on this item indicating not a Dietary Supplement about 2 months ago when I was first notified from Amazon. Amazon support really has been little help, with the same reply coming back numerous times “your case is currently under review by our internal team”.
How do I get somebody at Amazon to help resolve this issue ? Does 2 months or even 28 days depending how you look at it seem excessively long to get a reply from the “internal team”?
I have submitted everything the appeal submitting requested ie, pictures of the label, review of the detail page description to make sure there were no trigger words. I can’t get a straight forward answer to any questions that might help me get this cleared up from Amazon support. ASIN B0BRT65G4B
The real kicker is this item has a size variant, same exact product, used the same detail page information and language. That items is still selling.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If your listing has the same kind of verbiage as your Black Cherry and Pomegranate [misspelled in the title] Juice that's still listed -- you've got some problems to fix...the 2nd bullet point suggests this could be a health supplement (in Amazon's eyes). And you're in the wrong category. If you're selling juice, it should be in the Grocery Category not
Health & Household›Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements›Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements
I'd work on fixing the product detail page and then asking for the item to be reinstated because you've fixed the listing and it's a grocery item.

Hello @Seller_dQYyhahtgkiVZ,
Thank you for posting your concern with your listing.
The concerns I see with the listing is that the product label and detail page images indicates this product is "A powerful antioxidant which studies have shown may aid weight loss and lower cholesterol."
Per our dietary supplement policy, the description of the product and the product itself is being correctly identified as a supplement.
- The FDA defines a dietary ingredient as a vitamin, mineral, herb or other botanical, amino acid, or dietary substance for use to supplement the diet by increasing the total dietary intake, or a concentrate, metabolite, constituent, extract, or combination of the preceding substances intended for human consumption. Dietary supplements come in different forms such as powders, pills, capsules, liquid drops, and oral sprays. They include but are not limited to categories such as vitamins and minerals and herbs and botanicals; and can be marketed for functions such as sexual enhancement, weight management, bodybuilding and sports nutrition. Dietary supplements must not make disease claims or contain undeclared drug ingredients or articles that are approved as new drugs.
Surrounding your inability to update the listing manually, have you attempted an update using an inventory file? If so can you provide any related cases, or the batch ID better assess the situation?
