I reveived this message from Amazon.
“You are currently registered as an “UK Sole Proprietor” seller, but your business is Privately-owned . We have explained the different legal entities below.”
I have Amazon business account.
I have submitted my UTR
I registered the business as a sole trader - reason why I chose sole trader for legal entity.

It seems you share a name with a limited company that was recently registered. If that’s you then that might be where Amazon have gotten the info from.

Assuming that as you have another company you understand the implications of having a ltd company but you need to make sure you know the difference between a ltd and a sole trader as per this:

You’re not if its dormant and if you didn’t tell amazon you were a limited company

Hence why they are asking you to change the legal entity to a privately owned business because thats what you are

If you decide to use the Ltd company also ensure that you have a bank account linked to that legal entity / company. You cant just use the same business account linked to you as a sole trader - I expect that this is what is currently linked to your Amazon account.
