Parent SKUs showing "Missing Offer" Leading to split listings

Hi all, has anyone experienced their Parent listings showing as "Missing Offer, Add missing offer details" indicating that Amazon want me to populate a price for the parent SKU?

When I try to edit the parent to see what's flagged up as incorrect or missing data for example I get the "This SKU has an inconsistent product classification with the ASIN. Please submit a feed to update this SKU to match the ASIN product classification." error

For context, this is not affecting all listings but the ones it is affecting show no indication to what the actual error is & we have others from the same category that aren't affected (yet).

We have this being looked into by Amazon but just wanted to see if any other sellers have experienced the same & what steps you took to resolve?

We have managed to get some listings back together and we actually have some variation listings live without a parent, which is bizarre.

I can also see that a listing that is live across the EU only has this problem in UK. Amazon made so many changes in Q4 such as GPSR, launching Amazon.ie, the new seller dashboard experience, the new flat files beta version showing that some variation themes will be deprecated, we think it may be linked to these one of changes somewhere along the line.

Hello @Seller_NDN7tx8nj1BPs,

The 'Missing Offer' error you're seeing on Parent ASINs is actually a known issue, as Parent ASINs should not have any offer information by design.

One common cause is when price/offer information accidentally gets submitted to the Parent ASIN. This creates a downstream error. Could you check if any prices have been mistakenly added?

Best, Ezra
