Has the Payments Dashboard changed the way the amounts are displayed?

As I understand from my colleague the process used to be:

  1. Disbursement received.
  2. The text on the page that says "Transfer of £x scheduled to initiate on xx/xx/xxxx" would change to a different amount and remain the same until disbursement day.

However my colleague was concerned about payments and I have noticed that the amount resets after disbursement and increases each day. I always thought this was usual behaviour but apparently not.

Can anyone tell me if this is a recent change?

Hi @Seller_nzd3XpaZpr8Gb

Christine here

There has indeed been a subtle update to how disbursement amounts are displayed on the Payments Dashboard in Seller Central, and it's understandable that this could cause some confusion if you're used to the previous display format.

What’s changed:

Previously, once a disbursement was scheduled, the dashboard would display a fixed amount (e.g., “Transfer of £X scheduled to initiate on XX/XX/XXXX”) and this amount would remain static until the disbursement was initiated.

Now, once a disbursement is completed, sellers may notice that the displayed balance resets and then begins increasing incrementally. This is because the dashboard is now designed to reflect a more real-time view of your account activity — including new sales, fees, refunds, and other transactions — as they occur between disbursement cycles.

What this means:

This behavior is expected and does not indicate any issue with your disbursement.

The system is simply updating more dynamically to reflect your current available balance.

Scheduled disbursements and actual transfers are still processed on the same regular cadence, as per your account settings.

For full transparency around your deposits, you can always:

Navigate to Reports > Payments > All Statements to view finalized disbursements.

Use the Transaction View to review all activity affecting your balance.

Check your bank account for confirmation once a disbursement has been sent (you will also receive an email notification when a transfer initiates).

We appreciate you and your colleague bringing this up — and we’re always here to help clarify these types of changes.

Christine.
