CPSC recall

Has anyone received Amazon’s cpsc recall email? I went to the cpsc official website to check my brand and there was no recall information, but Amazon took the initiative to deduct the product fee from my account and return it to the buyer. Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Hi @Seller_75ULu14vSkxFq,

According to "Recalled products information" (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GA67MCULL8TFREGA), CPSC recalls are typically announced on their website in cooperation with manufacturers. The fact that you can't find your brand there is noteworthy.

First, check your MYC dashboard and emails, as according to "Recalls Logistics Service" (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GQFTQCWCFBFB6EHT), you should have received notification within 24 hours if there is a legitimate recall.

If you can't find any notification and there's no recall listed on CPSC's website, this might be an error. According to "Product safety alerts, recalls, stop sales, and market withdrawal policy for sellers" (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GRD4EMBNNW3P47GH), you can appeal by:

  1. Creating a case with Selling Partner Support (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub?ref=/cu/contact-us/)
  2. Including documentation showing no CPSC recall exists for your product
  3. Providing all relevant ASIN information

Note that according to the same help page, "Amazon reserves the right to make judgments in its sole discretion about whether or not a product listing may present potential safety issues."

Kind regards, Michael
