Understanding Safe T Claim Refunds?

I have had to file many Safe T Claims and I am always confused at the outcome.

Someone last week returned an item to me, completely snapped in half and broken. I've had to throw it away. Of course Amazon had already fully refunded the person.. so again I file a Safe T Claim.

Order was £49.99

Safe T Claim granted in my favour, but only £8.16.. where do they pull these random figures from?

I've noticed it with most of my claims and never got an answer.

my safe-T values never add up.

you have to sometimes go back and demand the rest, which 80% of the time don't work.

you should reply to amazon and advise the broken item has no value in resale and they should compensate you the rest as its unfair on you to accept a damaged item back. obviously the more pics you got the better.

We photo and video the heck out of anything and everything that comes back regardless of value. so time consuming but sometimes saves our skin as we have loads of evidence to stand on against the buyer/amazon. (obviously making the evidence work for you against Amazon is another ball game on its own)
