Here's a quick overview of what you need to know:
For listings on Amazon UK-based store, you don’t need to submit any information to Amazon. You must, however, submit the required information for listings on Amazon EU-based stores. One thing that I don't seem to understand, is that you say:
"For listings on Amazon UK-based store, you don’t need to submit any information to Amazon. "
Northern Ireland is considered part of the UK and requires GPSR. So for nothing to be submitted when listing on "Amazon UK" only, does that mean Northern Ireland will be split off into it's own store? Or do we need to simply remove Northern Ireland from our shipping settings?
is this the reason my listings have all become invisible to buyers?
Has anyone had any luck finding a company who is reasonably price to act as an EU responsible person for your brand? We have not managed to find a company within budget to be able to do this on our behalf and will more than likely have to stop selling in Europe.
Some of the companies we spoke to want 1450 euros + 650 euros per product for the first year for RP representation, and this just isn't going to be a viable solution long term for us.
We are looking into Estonian e-residency in order to get around this at the moment.
"Displaying in online listings warning and safety information in the language of the country of sale"
Does somebody know how to do this? We have digital manuals in every language, and also the safety information is in it. But how to upload this on every marketplace? Or what to do?
Nobody of Amazon seems to know this, but they sent the requirements...
I am trying to understand this, but it is a bit confusing. I sell clothing. Do you want me to label each product with the ‘name of the person and manufacturer’ details?
Who would buy from me once I put the manufacturer’s details on the product, as they can go and buy from them?
For UK sellers currently selling into Northern Ireland, is Amazon going to remove the requirement making it compulsory to ship to Northern Ireland ?
As a micro-business, it's not cost effective to pay someone to be a responsible person for the products we sell which are produced outside the EU, so we'll have a choice of either not selling to Northern Ireland (if Amazon allows it) or removing all non-EU produced products from Amazon, and probably everywhere else.
Nice protectionist move by the EU, and because this affects almost all non-food products including second hand ones, I can see Facebook marketplace doing very well out of this when eBay & Amazon sellers can no longer sell collectable or discontinued goods !
Hi, can you just confirm we don't need to add this to our Amazon UK store/products? We don't sell to the EU, but we do sell to Northern Ireland...do we need to remove Northern Ireland as a delivery option? Quite stressed about this now I've seen it.
Thanks
Dear Erza,
Please explain me, what kind of information we must diplay on the listing's images, and what kind of information we must display only in the listing information (bullet points?)
Please share a link to an amazon listing in FR, DE, IT or ES that has already done this, so we can model it? This would make life so much easier.
