Return policy on books and DVDs
What is the return policy for Books and DVDs? Are there days when a person can return a book and still get a refund? A person ordered the book 34 days ago and wants a refund because they no longer need it. is this a thing? If a person orders a new DVD unopened, opens that DVD, and says it doesn't work then wants a refund are we obligated to refund their money even though they've opened the package?

Returns are normally permitted for ANY REASON 30 days after RECEIPT but the "holiday give away seller money season' has started so returns are permitted until the end of January.
For DEFECTIVE items how would they know without opening it? It used to be that they had to notify you within 15 days but I think that has disappeared so 30 days looks like the rule across the board -- except for holiday give away season......
Since you appear to be new, read the Forum a LOT for all the creative ways that you will get scammed on here.
Buckle up and wear protective gear. Amazon is NOT for the weak and faint of heart. It will kill you with a thousand paper cuts to your soul if you let it.

Hello @Seller_pAYuGppGp9lL3- Just checking in here with you. You will want to review a few help pages including this one. Additionally, if you utilize FBA, Amazon provides fulfillment and customer service for orders, including processing customer returns. Amazon's customer returns policies are used to determine if a purchased FBA item is eligible for return. Amazon may accept returns beyond the timeframe stated in these policies. You may read more about those policies here.
Kindest regards,
