Trying to get ungated in La Roche Posay

I am trying to get ungated in La Roche Posay and I keep getting the following message:

''Thank you for your application to sell La Roche-Posay products. We have reviewed the documentation that you provided and determined that you are not eligible to sell La Roche-Posay products. We evaluated the information that you provided, but it did not pass our review. We took this action to ensure the mutual success of our sellers and buyers on our site. ''

I have provided them of the invoice with a large quantity of items purchased that I am currently stuck with as I can't return it. The case ID is 10706154252

Can someone look into this for me please as I don't feel like I'm getting much support

It looks like the brand owner L'Oréal handle their own distribution so hopefully your invoice is from L'Oréal (UK) Limited or at least L'Oréal in Europe.

In fairness L'Oréal (UK) Limited publish their General Terms Of Sale on their website so you can easily see what you'll need.

One restriction is: "In no circumstances can Products be exported except within the countries in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man without the prior written approval of Seller." so the products will need to be sourced directly from L'Oréal in Europe or the UK.

They also clearly state they operate a "Selective Distribution Agreement" with a “Selective Internet Addendum” so you'll need a letter of approval signed by L'Oréal and yourself to sell their products on Amazon or any other website. The policy definitions are:

"Selective Distribution Agreement" means a contract agreed and signed between Seller and Customer that accepts Customer into Seller's selective distribution system and allows Customer to purchase Selective Products, including any Selective Internet Addendum.

“Selective Internet Addendum” means an addendum to a Selective Distribution Agreement agreed and signed between Seller and Customer that provides specific approval for Customer to sell Selective Products on a specified website address on the internet.

Hello @Seller_lhRJO9GcStNoV,

Welcome to the Forums!

This is Sarah with Amazon.

If you are not authorized to sell products from the brand, you may be asked to provide documents such as invoices or photos of your product’s packaging for review.

Selling restrictions are either placed on individual products or groups of similar products (such as products belonging to the same brand). Selling restrictions may be placed on the following entities:

  • Individual ASINs
  • Brands
  • Brands within a specific category
  • Categories
  • Sub-categories

This video explains what kind of invoices you should submit for your selling application and what information Amazon looks for during the review.

Kind regards,

Sarah.
